It voluntarily came up on it's own...
Obviously it is some sort of pumpkin, squash, zucchini or funky hybrid cross.
Only problem, the blossoms are white. .
I have never grown anything with white blossoms before!
Hmmmm.....So we watched, waited, and went out of town for a couple of days.
When we came home, this is what we found on the vine.....
A baby birdhouse gourd!
Clear back in April, we planted Birdhouse Gourds in the greenhouse....
Nothing, what so ever came up...
Not even after a month of waiting!
I figured the seeds were old duds and I gave up on them.
Somewhere along the way, the potting mix must have gotten dumped in the garden... Low and behold our Mystery has been solved!
